Seems like I’m on a roll here. Might as well keep it coming while the juice is there. I’m feeling pretty good after a pretty sizable block that’s been going on for a while. Anyway, description!
This here is everyone’s good friend, Roy G. Biv. In keeping with the theme of the past couple days, this gnome is from Toonopolis: Gemini. His name will make obvious sense when I color him, which should be in the near future. I like how he turned out, especially since it’s pretty much my first attempt at a full beard. Lots of firsts and learning experiences with these Toonopolis drawings, and that’s exactly why I volunteered to do it.
As usual, let me know what you think!

So I decided to finish this off instead of working more on the skyline. I’ll color the skyline either tomorrow or maybe tuesday night, since that’s the end of my work week.
Anyway, here’s Miss Fire, all finished up and pretty. I’m happy with how she turned out, and hopefully you guys are as well. Let me know either way.

earlier on my twitter (@eurkos, by the way) I posted a stupid cellphone photo of this drawing. So here it is, a little easier to see. This is like the 5th or 6th version of this I’ve done recently, and it’s the first one I’m happy with. Barring some drastic change in heart, this is The One, I think. It’s the Toonopolis skyline, from the same eventual comic as Miss Fire, and also from the novel by Jeremy Rodden.

So here we have Miss Fire, a character created by Jeremy Rodden from his novel Toonopolis: Gemini. Look up the book on Amazon. It’s a rather fun read.

Anyway, I’m working on design ideas for the project of turning that novel into a webcomic. This is my attempt at drawing a character who looks like they’re from a western-style super hero cartoon. My favorite one of those was always Batman: The Animated Series, so I took inspiration from that.

Let me know what you think!

Trying a new thing here. Obviously I haven’t kept up with the sketch-a-day business. So what I have here is a sketch dump. There’s not much to this one, and I hope to change that. The plan is once every week or so (maybe less, maybe more) I’ll post up scans of doodles and such, and hopefully see what other people think of them.
I think I might get more drawings done with input from outside my head. Sketches I might hate might get good feedback, which could get me to revisit something I might otherwise ignore. So, to that end, please tell me what you think. Good or bad, I wanna know.

So, this is the finished version of the Miss Fire fanart I posted before. I’m pretty happy with it, and I feel like I learned a bit.

This is fanart of a character known as Miss Fire. She’s from a novel written by Jeremy Rodden known as Toonopolis: Gemini. I’m not finished reading yet, but I will be soon.

Anyway, super hero clothes are still new to me, so she gets simple tights. I’m happy with how it came out, even though the pose is refereced. I’m working on coloring it now.
